Main Street though the Young & Main Intersection is now open in its short-term configuration. While work continues on the Main Street Project to resolve the numerous underground conflicts and complete the waterline reconstruction; we wanted you, the public, to be able to utilize Main St. through the intersection and patronize local businesses. This configuration is expected to last through the winter where work outside of the roadway will continue as planned.
When travelling along Main St. through the corridor please reduce your speed and be on the lookout for further reduction in posted speed limits. Remember this is still an active work zone.
