Rolesville Main Street Project
Creating a safer, more successful, and more attractive Main Street for residents, business owners, and visitors alike.
The Town of Rolesville is entering the final phase of the Main Street Project, with overnight milling and paving scheduled to begin Sunday, April 12 at 6 p.m.
Work will take place nightly from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. for approximately two weeks, weather permitting. Paving is being done at night to limit traffic impacts.
Milling will occur first, followed closely by paving to minimize the time the roadway remains in a rough condition.
Crews will begin on North Main Street at Williams Street. Main Street will be paved from Williams Street to Jonesville Road. Temporary markings will be in place after paving, with permanent striping to follow once paving is complete.
Residents can expect overnight noise, lighting, and traffic control with flagging operations in place.

Funding for the grant project was sought from CAMPO based upon a joint planning effort between CAMPO and the Town to develop the Main Street Vision Plan. This plan divides the 4-mile Main Street corridor into three areas ripe for development. The Town seeks to create a true town center by utilizing urban design practices and building a sense of place.
